Case Study
Online Training in Brazil

ChevronTexaco employees in Brazil have access to a wide range of training materials, including courses developed by Harvard Business School. More than 650 employees in Brazil have taken classes from the two Web-based programs - the Harvard Manage Mentor and Web Aula - on Texaco Brasil's intranet site.

The Harvard Manage Mentor offers training in 27 subjects from coaching to negotiating to project management. Web Aula, developed by the Brazilian company Zargon, offers 29 courses, including a range of computer training. Nearly 100 percent of the employees who used the training courses said they met or exceeded their expectations.
