Our subsidiary Chevron Energy Solutions (CES) delivers energy efficiency, conservation and power system solutions to public institutions and businesses, including Chevron's own operations. CES helps clients reduce operating costs, save taxpayer dollars, benefit the environment and promote renewable energy sources.

At the Chambersburg (Pennsylvania) School District, CES created a safer, more comfortable learning environment in 300 district classrooms by dramatically improving energy efficiency and conservation in seven buildings. Working with the district, CES upgraded and replaced lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; established new control systems; replaced roofs and windows; installed an energy information system; and performed water conservation retrofits.

The money saved by improving the district's energy efficiency is directed back to where it has the greatest impact — the classroom.
