Donald B. Rice is the retired president and chief executive officer of Agensys, Inc., a private biotechnology company and, since December 2007, an affiliate of Astellas Pharma, Inc.
Prior Positions Held: Rice founded Agensys, Inc. (formerly Uro Genesys, Inc.) in 1996 and served as its president and chief executive officer until 2010. He was chairman of Agensys, Inc. from 2002 until it was acquired by Astellas Pharma Inc. in December 2007. Rice was president and chief operating officer of Teledyne, Inc., from 1993 until 1996. He was secretary of the Air Force from 1989 until 1993. He was president and chief executive officer of the RAND Corporation from 1972 until 1989.
