Paul V. Bennett
Vice President and Treasurer
Paul V. Bennett is vice president and treasurer for Chevron Corporation, a position he has held since 2011. He is responsible for banking, financing, cash management, insurance, pension investments, and credit and receivables activities across the corporation.
Previously Bennett served as vice president of Finance, Downstream & Chemicals, from 2009 to 2011 and was responsible for delivering finance support to all areas of Downstream & Chemicals.
Bennett has held a number of finance positions of increasing responsibility, including manager, Tax Compliance and Audits, Chevron U.S.A. Inc.; manager, Logistics and Trading Accounting, Chevron Products Company; vice president, Finance and Administration, P&M Coal Mining Co.; assistant treasurer, Credit and Receivables Management, Chevron Corporation; and general manager, Finance Shared Services, Chevron Services Company.
Bennett serves on the board of directors for GS Caltex.
Bennett was born in 1953 in New York, N.Y. He began his career in 1980 as a financial analyst in Chevron's Comptroller's department. In 1975, he earned a bachelor's degree in history at Wesleyan University in Connecticut and in 1980 a master's degree in finance at the University of California, Berkeley.
