Chevron is known around the world through its three brands: Chevron®, Texaco® and Caltex™. These brands have achieved high rankings in the United States and around the world.
- Our Americas Products organization serves retail, commercial and industrial, and aviation fuel customers in the United States and Canada as well as in Latin America and the Caribbean under the Chevron and Texaco brands.
- Our International Products organization markets our petroleum products and aviation fuels through Caltex in Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle East and Pakistan and through Texaco in Europe.
The Techron Difference
Across the world, nearly all of our retail fuels are sold with Techron® gasoline additive. Our proprietary deposit control additive technology is based on more than 30 years of product research and development.
Techron helps keep critical engine parts—like intake valves, fuel injectors and combustion chambers—clean. And cleaner engines can have lower emissions and increased performance and help maximize fuel economy. All of our fuels have the nitrogen-enriched Techron additive that contains polyetheramine chemistry to help keep vital engine parts cleaner than competitors' lower-quality gasolines.
Alternative Fuels
Chevron continues to introduce alternative fuels that meet regulatory requirements as well as our own high standards for safety, reliability and performance. In the United States, Chevron biodiesel also meets U.S. biomass-based diesel requirements and original equipment manufacturers' guidelines.
Health, Environment and Safety
Around the world, Chevron works to protect the safety and health of people and the environment and to conduct our operations reliably and efficiently. To this end, we employ a set of management systems we call Operational Excellence. Using these tools, our product organizations ensure that our service stations, product terminals and transportation fleet operate safely and reliably.
