In the Americas, we offer retail, commercial and industrial, and aviation fuel products and services under our Chevron® and Texaco® brands.
We serve customers at approximately 8,900 Chevron and Texaco retail stations in the United States, Canada, and countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. During 2012, we sold a daily average of about 1.5 million barrels of gasoline and other refined products in the region.
Chevron Americas Products manages our six refineries in North America, which have a combined crude oil capacity of about 1 million barrels per day. Many of these refineries are capable of processing a wide variety of crudes and can produce a range of products.
We are a leading supplier of jet fuel and aviation gasoline to commercial airlines and military customers in the Americas. Chevron serves more than 60 airports in the United States, the Caribbean and Latin America.
Trusted by Customers
Fueled by our Techron® gasoline additive, our Chevron and Texaco brands have strong, long-standing reputations with consumers across the Americas. Chevron's award-winning ExtraMile® convenience stores operate at more than 470 company-owned and franchisee sites in California, Oregon, Washington and Florida.
Health, Environment and Safety
Health, environment, safety, reliability and efficiency are the key components of Chevron's Operational Excellence Management System. Using this system ensures that our Chevron and Texaco stations and product terminals operate safely and reliably.
In the aftermath of a 7.1 magnitude earthquake in 2009 at the Puerto Cortes Terminal in Honduras, Americas Products workers used their emergency response planning to avoid injuries, prevent spills and maintain supply. In collaboration with the Pan American Development Foundation, Chevron also provided disaster relief assistance to local communities.
We also demonstrate our commitment to the environment and the communities where we work through our underground storage tank system assessment and replacement program.
