Chevron Supply and Trading (S&T) provides a critical link between the market and Chevron's upstream, downstream and chemicals companies. S&T provides commercial support to Chevron's crude oil and natural gas production operations as well as to the company's refining and marketing network.
S&T is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and has offices worldwide, with trading hubs in Houston, London, Singapore and San Ramon, California. It manages daily commodity transactions averaging 5 million barrels of liquids and 6 billion cubic feet of natural gas.
Chevron's supply and trading activities are organized by crude oil, natural gas and products.
Crude Supply and Trading (CSAT) buys, sells and transports all major grades of crude oil. CSAT secures the best prices for selling Chevron's upstream production and for purchasing crudes used by our refineries. CSAT works closely with Chevron Shipping Company, Chevron Pipe Line Company and third parties to transport crudes for customers around the world, including Chevron's Americas Products and International Products organizations.
Gas Supply and Trading (GSAT) markets natural gas to wholesale and large end-use consumers, such as utility and industrial customers and pipeline operators. GSAT also negotiates supply commitments of natural gas through short-term and mid-term liquefied natural gas marketing opportunities in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
Product Supply and Trading manages global supply, trading and logistics for a wide range of products, including feedstocks, fuels, and refined products manufactured, distributed and sold through Chevron's refining and marketing system. Products include gasoline, naphtha, diesel, jet fuel, heavy fuels, biofuels, coke, sulfur, ammonia and asphalt.
