Through our Caltex subsidiary, Chevron is a partner in the Star Petroleum Refining refinery in Map Ta Phut, Thailand. The modern facility is a pacesetter in design, safety features and pollution controls.
Chevron also holds interests in a 700-megawatt Tri Energy electric power plant in Ratchaburi. The natural gas combined-cycle power plant is the first independently operated power producer in Thailand.
Our Caltex-branded operations rank among the nation's leading suppliers of petroleum products, which include liquefied petroleum gas, gasoline, gasohol and diesel fuel. We also sell industrial lubricants and aviation fuel.
In neighboring Cambodia, Chevron is exploring for hydrocarbons in offshore projects.
