Exploration and Production
Chevron Overseas Petroleum (Cambodia) Limited operates and has a 30 percent interest in Cambodia's offshore Block A, an area covering 1.2 million acres (4,709 sq km) in the Gulf of Thailand.
In 2012, the company made progress on discussions concerning the production permit for development of Block A. The planned development consists of a wellhead platform and a floating storage and offloading vessel. A final investment decision to begin development is expected after an agreement on commercial terms and government approval of production permit are in place.
Marketing and Retail
Chevron (Cambodia) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary that markets automotive fuels and products under the Caltex® brand. We also serve the needs of commercial and industrial customers.
There are 24 Caltex service stations in Cambodia, 18 of which are in the capital city, Phnom Penh. We operate 17 Star Mart® convenience stores, eight Coffee Plus® gourmet cafés and six Lube Bay™ outlets.
Consumers can buy Caltex with Techron® gasoline at Caltex service stations. Techron® is an additive that works like a detergent to remove and prevent fuel deposits in engines. In 2009, we introduced Caltex Diesel with Techron D®.
Havoline® and Revtex® lubricants are also available at our stations.
We also have a terminal in Preah Sihanouk Province.
