Oronite in the Community

Oronite conducts business in communities around the world where our employees, customers, suppliers and business partners live and work. We are committed to contributing to the social and economic development of the communities in which we operate. We believe that doing so is fundamental to the broader success we seek to achieve as a business.

Community Assistance

Our most recent significant efforts have been focused on the US, as one of our own communities was so devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Our neighbors, employees and contractors were significantly impacted, many losing their homes. Camp Oronite was commissioned to provide relief for our families and neighbors providing the following services for a period of four months:

• Installation of living facilities for a 300 person camp, employing 32 contract personnel who provided food service, house keeping and maintenance for the camp
• Provided housing for Plaquemines Parish Government workers, third party contractors and parish residents
