Oronite works with our local communities through Community Advisory Panels and working groups comprised of Oronite employees, local business people and residents to address issues relating to health, safety and the environment.
Oronite Protecting the Environment
Protecting the Environment is one of our Oronite Values. We have three strategic priorities for environmental performance: defining world-class standards, measuring and communicating performance, and demonstrating continual performance improvement.
Our facilities meet the International Standards Organization's Environmental performance standard ISO 14001. This means that we systematically identify our most significant environmental aspects and put processes in place to appropriately mitigate our impact.
Performance improvement is driven by disciplined application of our Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) which encompasses efficiency, natural resources conservation, biodiversity conservation, product stewardship and emergency management.
