Four-Stroke Motorcycle Engine Oils

Engine

Did you know?

The four stroke engine is the most widely used in today's cars and trucks. It was first demonstrated by Nicholaus Otto in 1876 and is also known as the Otto cycle.

Engine Requirements

Environmental regulations have created a shift from two-stroke (2T) engines to four-stroke (4T) engines in the motorcycle market. Four-stroke bikes have a compact design which means they have lubrication requirements different from those of passenger cars. All in one four-stroke oils must not cause clutch slippage during acceleration and should be able to withstand high temperatures and protect parts.

Product Benefits

Our products for four-stroke engines provide the following benefits:

  • Provide optimum clutch performance in motorcycles
  • Enable outstanding protection to critical parts such as pistons and ring grooves
  • Control carbon, lacquer deposits and engine sludge at the high oil temperatures (130°C /266°F) that are reached in air cooled bikes
  • Reduce power loss
  • Protect gear parts

These benefits contribute to long equipment life and enable the consumer to get maximum performance out of the bike.
