Major engine and injection equipment manufacturers have endorsed diesel fuel with up to 5% biodiesel as an acceptable fuel. There are a few new model passenger cars, 2009 and later models, where the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) have not yet endorsed diesel fuel with up to 5% biodiesel, although they are expected to in the future. Please consult your owner’s manual to be certain your car can operate on diesel fuel with up to 5% biodiesel and the use of the fuel will not impact your engine warranty.
