The refinery's Procurement Team works with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure all material and services meet Chevron's quality, safety and reliability standards, and are competitively priced.
Chevron's Supplier Diversity / Small Business Program
This corporate-wide program's mission is to provide small, minority, and women owned business enterprises with business opportunities, outreach assistance, and information they need to do business with Chevron. Numerous companies in the San Francisco Bay Area have qualified for the program and continue to work as business partners with the Richmond Refinery.

A qualifying business owner in California will be directed to forward the completed registration form to the area Supplier Diversity/Small Business Coordinator, who is a Procurement Team employee here at the Richmond Refinery.

One way the refinery helps support local business and economic development organizations through active membership and participation. Members of the refinery management team serve on boards of directors and major committees with several Richmond organizations.
