The era of easy access to cheap oil is over. The 20th World Petroleum Congress theme—Energy Solutions for All: Promoting Cooperation, Innovation and Investment—will highlight some of this activity.

Monday, December 5

3:15 p.m. – Rhonda Zygocki, Chevron's executive vice president of policy and planning, will chair Special Session 1, "Business and Community: Partners for Shared Prosperity."
3:15 p.m. – Robert "Bobby" Ryan, vice president of Global Exploration, Chevron Upstream and Gas, will present his paper "The Imperative of Unconventional Thinking" during Forum 6, "Exploring New Frontiers: Innovation and Vision."
5 p.m. – John McDonald, vice president and chief technology officer at Chevron, will speak at Special Session 2, "Technology and Innovations in Upstream."
5 p.m. – Jim Davis, president of Chevron Energy Solutions, is the vice chair of Forum 17, "Wind and Solar Short– and Long–Term Perspectives."
5 p.m. – Ganesh Thakur, vice president and global advisor, reservoir management, Chevron Energy Technology Co., will present his paper "Advances in Reservoir Management and Enhanced Oil Recovery Techniques: Improving Production and Recovery in New and Mature Fields" during Forum 7, "Advances in Reservoir Management."

Tuesday, December 6

1 p.m. – Rhonda Zygocki, Chevron's executive vice president of policy and planning, is a keynote speaker at Plenary 4, "Responsible and Sustainable Investment for the Future."
3:15 p.m. – Bill Higgs, senior vice president of operations for Saudi Arabian Chevron, will present his paper "Carbonate Steamflooding: Unlocking the Potential of Enhanced Heavy Oil Recovery in the Middle East" during Forum 8, "Enhanced Recovery: New Challenges and Technologies." Ganesh Thakur vice president and global advisor for reservoir management, Chevron Energy Technology Co., is the vice chair of this session.

Wednesday, December 7

11:15 a.m. – Jim Davis, president of Chevron Energy Solutions, is a panelist at Round Table 9, "Cost vs. Benefits of Non-Fossil Fuels."
2:15 p.m. – Shariq Yosufzai, vice president, Chevron Corporation, and Joseph Caggiano, senior consultant with Chevron Energy Technology Co., will speak at Special Session 9, "National Petroleum Council Fuel Study: Future Transportation Fuels in the U.S. to 2030."
3:15 p.m. – Eve Sprunt, business development manager for Chevron Energy Technology Co., will chair Special Session 12, "Female Leadership in the Petroleum Industry."

5 p.m. – Edgard Habib, Chevron's chief economist, is a panelist at Round Table 12, "Geopolitics and New Frontiers."
5 p.m. – David Newell, commercial consultant for Chevron Asia Pacific Exploration and Production Co., will present his paper "Overcoming Barriers to Development of Global Geothermal Resources" during Forum 19, "Geothermal and Hydro Options."

Thursday, December 8

10:15 a.m. – Joseph Caggiano, senior consultant with Chevron Energy Technology Co., will be a keynote speaker at Special Session 15, "WPC/WEC Energy and Mobility."
10:30 a.m. – Petroleum engineer Haakon Dahle Smith will present his poster, "Talent: The Security of Supply," at Forum 24, "Attracting and Retaining People."
11:15 a.m. – Patrick Blough, vice president of gas commercialization for Chevron Global Gas, will moderate Round Table 2, "Gas Price Perspectives: High Enough to Attract Investment, Low Enough to Attract Consumers."
3:15 p.m. – Jay Pryor, Chevron's vice president of Business Development, is a panelist at Round Table 6, "Attracting Investments to Capital Intensive Exploration & Production Projects."
