Chevron Employees at Mafumeira Sul are Committed to Protecting People and the Environment
The Mafumeira Sul project off the coast of Cabinda province in Angola is part of a continuing effort to grow Chevron’s production capacity in offshore Block 0 and contribute to the development of Angola’s oil and gas industry. First liquified petroleum gas export began in January 2018. Ramp-up continued at the main production facility, with total daily production in 2018 averaging 52,000 barrels of liquids (17,000 net) and 147 million cubic feet of natural gas (57 million net) exported to the Angola LNG plant. Every day, employees at Mafumeira Sul like the ones shown here are committed to protecting people and the environment.
