Chevron works with our partners using an integrated approach to strengthen health systems where we operate. In our fight against HIV/AIDS, we recognize that ending mother-to-child transmission of HIV is one of the most feasible ways to achieve an AIDS-free generation. In 2012, Chevron partnered with Pact in the state of Bayelsa, Nigeria, to establish a community-based and government-supported statewide outreach program for the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT).
