Texaco Press Release - Texaco Announces the Arrival of Plush Toy Animals in Celebration

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Aug. 29 - In celebration of the U.S. Olympic Team's quest for Gold in Sydney, Texaco today announced the arrival of the Texaco Inside-Outback U.S. Olympic Animals. These toy animals are available at participating Texaco stations nationwide, from August 28th through October 1st.

Each soft toy represents an indigenous animal from Down Under that morphs into sports equipment and back again. "Aussie Koala" turns inside out into a soccer ball, "Skip Kangaroo" becomes a basketball, "Toots Cockatoo" transforms into a volleyball, and "Razma Tazamanian Devil" turns into a baseball. Collect all four!

With a minimum $10.00 Texaco product purchase, customers can buy the Texaco Inside-Outback U.S. Olympic Animals for only $5.99 each, or $4.99 if they pay with their Visa card. Partial proceeds will go to the United States Olympic Committee in support of the U.S. Olympic Team.
