Unocal announces Vice Chairman John Imle To Leave Company
El Segundo, Calif., July 16, 1999 - Unocal Corporation said today that John F. Imle, Jr., vice chairman and member of the Management Committee, planned to leave the company at the end of 1999.
"John Imle has enjoyed a truly distinguished 36-year career with Unocal," said Roger C. Beach, chairman and chief executive officer. "He has contributed significantly to the expansion of our energy resource growth portfolio and opened doors for Unocal around the world. We deeply appreciate his extraordinary contributions to the company."
The company said that it did not plan to fill the vice chairman position.
