Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) today reported earnings of $3.7 billion ($1.95 per share – diluted) for fourth quarter 2018, compared with $3.1 billion ($1.64 per share – diluted) in the fourth quarter of 2017, which included $2.02 billion in tax benefits related to U.S. tax reform. Chevron U.S.A. Inc. (CUSA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX), today announced that it has signed a Share Purchase Agreement with Petrobras America Inc. (Petrobras) to acquire all the outstanding shares and equity interests of Pasadena Refining System, Inc., which includes the refinery in Texas, and PRSI Trading, LLC for $350 million, excluding working capital.
