In 2020, for the 16th consecutive year, Chevron achieved a rating of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Equality Index, which ranks U.S. companies committed to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality in the workforce.

best places to work in 2019

The Employees’ Choice Awards, based entirely on employee feedback, recognize the Best Places to Work and Top CEOs. Award winners are determined using feedback employees have shared on Glassdoor over the past year.

the “just 100”

Forbes and Just Capital ranked 890 of America’s largest publicly-traded companies and the result of this data-crunching: the 2019 Just 100. These are the 100 companies that are taking the public interest into their own hands and generating better returns for themselves and society in the process.

top 30 companies for diversity

Chevron earned recognition as one of the 2019 National Business Inclusion Consortium Best-of-the-Best Top 30 Corporations for inclusion. The Best-of-the-Best designation is the top corporate honor bestowed for commitments to America’s diverse employees and business owners, which includes the LGBT community, people of color, women, and people with disabilities.

dow jones sustainability index

Launched in 1999, the DJSI World represents the gold standard for corporate sustainability and is the first global index to track the leading sustainability-driven companies based on RobecoSAM’s analysis of financially material environmental, social, and governance factors and S&P DJI’s robust index methodology.

Chevron was recognized as a Best Company to Work for Women & Multicultural Women. The winners were chosen based on publicly available information found on sources, including: Working Mother Best Places to Work 2017, Glassdoor, Fairygodboss, 2020 Women on Boards, CNBC Top Companies for Millennials, Forbes, U.S. Census data, Fortune, 100 Best Workplaces for Diversity, Paid Leave for the US, CNBC Best Companies to Work for Women.

2019 best practices awards

The Asia Society awarded Chevron with Best Practices Awards in the following categories: Profit & Loss Leadership Development, and Asian Pacific American Employee Resource Groups.

chairman’s award

The National Association of Black Engineers honored Chevron as one of 12 organizations that made a positive impact by investing more than $100,000 in black/African American communities.

employer support freedom award

The Employer Support Freedom Award is the highest recognition given by the Department of Defense to employers for their exceptional support of National Guard and Reserve members. In 2019, Chevron in both California and Texas have been awarded this honor as well as Chevron Corporation.

2019 best places to work for people with disabilities

Disability Equality Index awarded Chevron the “2019 Best Places to Work for People with Disabilities” award for 2019.

2019 best employer for women

Forbes and Statista named Chevron to the 2019 list of America’s Best Employers for Women.

top 50 STEM workplaces for native americans

The “Top 50 Stem Workplaces” list cumulates organizations setting the standard for indigenous science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) professionals. This is Chevron’s 5th year in a row to be recognized.
