arbor day tree planting in north salt lake

April 30, 2022 — Chevron Salt Lake Refinery employees, North Salt Lake City Council members, and members of the community teamed up recently to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day with a tree planting at Legacy Park. The event included an educational demonstration led by City Council Member Lisa Watts Baskin. The City of North Salt Lake has been recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as a “Tree City USA” since 2009.
