Eimear P. Bonner

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Eimear P. Bonner, 50, is vice president and chief financial officer for Chevron Corporation, a position she assumed in 2024. She is responsible for audit, controller, investor relations, tax and treasury activities worldwide.

Previously, Bonner served as president of the Chevron Technical Center and chief technology officer. There, she led development of enterprise technology strategy; provided technical expertise to support its global operations; and advanced innovative technologies and digital solutions for the current and future energy system.

Prior roles include serving as the general director of Chevron’s joint venture, Tengizchevroil (TCO), in Kazakhstan; general manager of operations in TCO; general manager strategy for the corporation in San Ramon; asset management and planning leadership roles in Thailand and Kazakhstan; and engineering, operations and subsurface technical roles in the United Kingdom. She began her career working offshore as a petroleum engineer in the United Kingdom in 1998.

Bonner received her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Queen’s University Belfast, and her master’s degrees in advanced chemical engineering and petroleum engineering from Imperial College, London.
