In August 2024, Chevron Global Technology and Services Private Limited announced it will establish the Chevron Engineering and Innovation Excellence Center (ENGINE) in Bengaluru, India. Since 2023, Chevron Brands International LLC has partnered with the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to manufacture, distribute and market lubricants in India. Chevron Oronite Company LLC has a 50% interest in Indian Additives Limited (IAL) that is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of lubricating oil additives. We also market refining technologies to produce fuels, premium base oil, and provide solutions to upgrade heavy oil residue.

In October 2023, HPCL and Chevron Brands International LLC, a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation, entered into a long-term agreement encompassing the licensing, production, distribution, and marketing of lubricant products under the Caltex® brand, including Chevron’s proprietary Havoline® and Delo® branded lubricant products in India.

Along with other companies, Chevron contributed to the pooled funds organized by the Asia Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN). Through one such pooled fund, Chevron supported STEM education for girls and youth mental wellbeing in India.
Since 2022, the Miller Center-Chevron climate resilience initiative has been helping to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Asia Pacific including India. The social enterprises we are supporting through our funding in India include Husk Power Systems, Cleanergy Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd and AgriVijay.
